To more productive mornings
Tony this article was very intriguing and held my attention. You mad points that about things that we do everyday as a second nature. No need to think about it because our mid become trained to do certain task naturally from habit. So yes it is an excellent topic that I really enjoyed reading as I feel others will also. In addition since I am new to this game I also found some pointers for myself to grab a hold too.
Hey Chris,
Everyone was once new in the game.
Just like a child, you will be growing bigger and stronger over time in your business.
Hi Tony,
What a wonderful topic you have addressed in your review. Its a common problem in today’s hectic life. However, small change in your morning lifestyle can definitely increase your productivity to substantial levels.
I can relate to it as till 1 year back drinking a cup of coffee was the first thing I did after waking up. However, I have now got myself into a habit of drinking lukewarm water with honey, lemon and ginger. It has worked wonders as I now feel more energetic and productive throughout the day.
Hi Nik,
It’s amazing that you have mastered the art of productivity and know what it takes to conquer the day!
Thanks for sharing this informative article on mistakes made in the morning. Seriously I have never thought of this for ones or take note of them. Obviously there are some things we do early in the morning that may result into us having a bad day. You did a great job by sharing this common mistakes. I have to adjust in my daily activities following the points you mentioned.
Brilliant. Simple things make us do great things.
PS: I love you avatar ” Karma has no menu, you get what you deserve”. That is right and most people can relate to this.
Hi Tony,
I have just read your article on 9 productivity mistakes you are making and i found your post very helpful indeed, what ever you have said on your is article really true and logical. i have also some of those problems, my common mistake is using mobile phones during working time and i am stuck with this habit. from now i must try to avoid this bad habit. thank you so much for this beautiful post. i appreciate your good work.
Phones have now become a major problem not only in Work Places but also in relationships.
We spend most of our times scrolling our phones doing nothing important while we should be doing something that could make us better.
Thanks for the compliment Taw!
Hello Tony. Loved reading this article. These infographic are awesome and really make the whole thing easier to read. I think that the thing that influences my productivity the most is definitely going many tasks at once. I tend to loose so much time thinking about what to do next, will I have the time and similair.
The thing I realized, you should just go step-by-step. For expample, If I am writing my article, I should be doing only that. I should not worry about link building, possible images I will fit in and things like these which will slow me down.
Thank you.
I will make sure I share this informative post with my colleagues.
Strahinja.
Link building is still important.
While starting out, there is no need for link building since you wouldn’t have mastered how to write better content. No one will be willing to link to a mediocre article.
As you improve your skills in writing, you can share with industry experts and get some exposure.
I appreciate the support.
Thanks Tony for taking the time to put together this lovely piece. just like many people, l am guilty of most of the things you mentioned. most actually have become long term habits that might take a while before breaking such. Great piece. On a personal note, I love taking coffee first thing in the morning. With this, the caffeine in it would help me stay alert and concentrate on the tasks before me.
Great piece.
I understand you Tolu,
If coffee keeps you alert and not killing your productivity, why not?
Others may decide to take different beverages(like RedBul) to keep energy.
This was an awakening review. It can awaken someone who is at slumber in the pursuit of life goals. The First 10 minutes of the day really matters a lot and must be paid good attention to as this will determine how productive the day could really be. Most people never gave this a thought but you just made me give it a thought. Thank you.
Most of us open our browsers and check our phones.
We end up forgetting that we have to do something everyday in order to achieve our goals.
Thanks for stopping by Kenechi!
Thanks a lot for the very thorough and comprehensive article. What an info-graphic article! Well-structured and articulate. Anybody working in an office especially manager be it mid-level or senior will understands your points and adjust accordingly because most people are guilty of the points raised. Number 7 & 8 are mine and I am going to adjust accordingly henceforth. This is an eye opener for me. Thank you for sharing this.
Identifying the root problem is the beginning of the solution.
I remember that while doing my College project.
It’s time to make our mornings more productive!
This makes some really compelling arguments, but I have to admit I’m guilty of almost all of them. I do feed and medicate my dogs as soon as I get up (they won’t settle unless I do) but straight after, I get my coffee and sit down to go through emails, and catch up on anything that happened overnight. It takes me a while to waken up too, but I probably just need to change my mindset. Maybe standing to take time and drink some juice, while looking out at my garden would help get me in the right frame of mind for the day ahead. Interesting points, thank you 🙂
It’s great that you have identified your mistakes and already have possible solutions in mind.
